Richard Keeler, our Schools and Community Worker, has been working in our local schools and colleges for over 5 years. He regularly takes RE and PCE lessons and runs lunchtime clubs.
Alongside the regular visits into schools he has run special activity weeks bringing in guests like TASTE (see TASTE WEBSITE) to run events and activities over a week culminating in a gospel concert.
Another initiative was to hold a POP CONNECTION event with Kingston Primary School. This was a fantastic opportunity to work with the whole school to produce a CD. The children all joined in with the songs and actions and performed a concert here at TCC to launch the production.
Richard is constantly seeking new opportunities to broaden the work in our community especially through working in our local schools.
