ALPHA

Run successfully throughout the UK, Alpha is a 12 week course designed for those who want to understand what it means to be a Christian and who have questions about the Christian faith.
Our Alpha evenings start with a light meal, followed by a short talk and opportunities to ask questions in a small group setting.
Subjects include:
- "Why did Jesus die?"
- "How does God guide us?"
- "How can I make the most of the rest of my life?"
We usually run courses twice a year in September and January.
This is a great opportunity to find out more about Christianity in a relaxed setting - simply sign up, come along and ask any questions you may have!

MEMBERSHIP
Here at TCC we believe that it is important that before people decide to make a long term commitment to the fellowship that they first attend a membership course, which is specifically designed to enable them to understand our fundamental beliefs, and our vision and values. It also gives the potential new member a chance to get to know members of the leadership team and for the leaders to get better aquatinted with prospective members.
The course focuses on such things as meaning of ‘fellowship and discipleship’, ‘water baptism’, ‘baptism in the Holy Spirit’, ‘communion’ and ‘worship’. It also focuses on what we believe God has called TCC to do within the community through our community ministries. It also highlights the main vision and purpose for TCC as a family over the next 5 years as we look to God for continued direction and purpose.
Come along and enjoy an informal evening whilst learning about the truths of God, and His purpose for the community of Castle Point, and discover where your place is within the family at TCC.
FREEDOM IN CHRIST
As a charismatic church we wholeheartedly believe that Jesus Christ has obtained freedom for every believer from everything that would hinder them in their relationship with God. Therefore, part of our discipleship programme consists of the ‘Freedom in Christ’ 13 week discipleship course. During the course many discover for the first time their true identity ‘in Christ’, and this radically transforms their Christian experience to one of victory rather than struggle and defeat.
The FIC material seeks to help all believers to take hold of the fundamental truths regarding our position and destiny in Christ. Jesus said in John 8:32, “…you will know the truth and the truth will set you free”. Through the FIC course we seek to establish every believer on a foundation of truth based on a biblical mind-set rather than a faulty world-view.
The FIC course is both formative and inspirational.
NETWORK COURSE
The Network Course is designed to help you discover your spiritual gifts, personal style, and God-given passion for serving in the body of Christ.
This material, developed in partnership with the Willow Creek Association, helps churches appropriately guide people to the place of ministry that best reflects who they are.
